My Home...Revealed is a great opportunity for students interested in hospitality and marketing to win a trip to the Online Revealed Travel Conference this upcoming May. Online Revealed brings Canadian Travel Professionals like Yahoo! Canada, Travelocity and Marriott hotels together to learn about how to market Canada's destinations online. So we want to hear what students think is cool about their Canada. What can I win? There are two categories for the contest, 18+ and Under 18. The winner of the 18+ contest will be flown to Calgary, Alberta to attend the 3rd Annual Online Revealed Canada Conference May 12th - 14th, 2008. Air, hotel, conference registration, which provides a great place to network with some of Canada's top Tourism Professionals, and $1000 cash prize will be awarded to the lucky winner. Total prize package $2500.00. (No substitutions permitted for trip and conference. If contest winner is unable to attend during these dates, the prize is reduced to $1000 cash prize.) The winner of the Under 18 category will recieve a $500 gift certificate. (No cash substitutions of any prize is permitted.) Who can enter? Any student is eligible to enter. However students studying Travel & Tourism, Marketing, Business or Media might have the most interest in the prize. When is the deadline? Entries must be submitted by April 28, 2008. Winner will be contacted shortly afterwards in order to make the travel arrangements to the conference. What else do I need to know?
